The 78th Co(s)mic ComicBook B'Cast: The Kirby Connection.

Hi, welcome to the Co(s)mic ComicBook B'Cast.  This time around I'm going to share some of my favorite Jack Kirby artwork.  I have to admit, I wasn't a fan of Jack Kirby growing up but I came to my senses a few years ago when I saw more and more of his artwork, his work on both Marvel and DC Comics and some other smaller independent companies.  It took me a while but I came to appreciate the man they call: The King Of Comics.

His work on Fantastic Four was...well...fantastic.
Jack Kirby was a legendary figure in comics.  He was an artist, writer and editor.  He was widely regarded as one of the comic industries' major innovators and one of its most prolific and influential creators.
These are just a few of my favorite covers and pages by Jack Kirby taken from his work on Fantastic Four.  For almost a decade, Kirby provided Marvel's house style, co-creating with Stan Lee many of the Marvel characters and designing their visual motifs.

Well, that's my simple sharing for this edition of the Co(s)mic ComicBook B'Cast.  If you have a chance, try and find some classic comics by Jack The King Kirby.  Have a look at this artwork and if you're like me, you'll discover the genius of his this truly talented man, no...wait, the genius of the King Of Comics, Jack Kirby.

Thanks for dropping by, hope you enjoyed this edition of the broadcast.  Next time around I'll have more artwork from Jack Kirby.  I hope you'll drop by again.  Until next time, take care comic fans.
