I love this issue of the Amazing Spider-Man.  Great cover, don't you think?
These are great covers, don't you think?  Ron Frenz and Joe Rubinstein both did some really great work on The Amazing Spider-Man.
Okay, these three issues of the Amazing Spider-Man are just a few of the comics I found in my storeroom.  So if you want to have a look at the rest, here's the link to my YouTube Channel and my latest video.

The 75th Co(s)mic ComicBook B'Cast: More Old Comics

Hi there Comic Fans,
Welcome to the 75th Co(s)mic ComicBook B'Cast and for this edition of the broadcast, I'm still sharing my collection of old comicbooks, you remember, the ones I found in my storeroom recently.  I'm still going through the comics I found and wondering what to do with them.
I'm leaning towards bagging and boarding them but right now I'm not sure if I can afford to do that right now.  Why?  Well, being that I'm based in Borneo, it's really really expensive for me to buy the bags and boards.  I would have to buy them from the US.  The bags and boards themselves is affordable but the cost of shipping would be astronomical.  Well, I'll see what I can do.
So while I make up my mind about what I should do (I can't just leave them to rot in the storeroom again) I'm going to share these comics with you.
This time around I'm going to talk about a bunch of Avengers comics I found.  I remember reading these issues of The Mighty Avengers almost religiously.  At the time the only way for me to read comics was to buy them from the newspaper vendors and book stores.  These stores would sell books of all kinds, magazines and newspapers.
Looking back, I'm actually surprised that there were comics being sold.  Yeah, I was pretty lucky that I could even find these comics, I didn't think so at the time but looking back now, I think I was "lucky" that I could even get comics back in the day.
So here are some of the issues I got of the Mighty Avengers:
That's The Mighty Avengers # 249 written by Roger Stern, penciled by Allen Milgrom and inked by Joe Sinnott together with a whole bunch of other inkers.  I loved this issue, this issue had guest stars galore.  Back in the "old" days guest stars were something rare and important. The main storyline in this issue is a continuation from Thor #349 and continued in Thor #350.
Who were the guest stars?  Well there were: Asgardians; Beta Ray Bill; the Avengers [Captain Marvel [Monica Rambeau]; Hawkeye (seen in a video recording); Hercules; the Scarlet Witch; Starfox; Thor [Donald Blake]; the Vision; the Wasp]; Deathurge; the Fantastic Four [the Human Torch [Johnny Storm]; Mr. Fantastic; She-Hulk]; Gary Cody; ISAAC; Maelstrom; Malekith (flashback); Surtur (flashback); Surtur's demons; the Warriors Three [Fandral; Hogun; Volstagg]
This is another issue of the Mighty Avengers I found in my storeroom. Unfortunately, the comic was NOT in good condition.  If you want to know how bad, well I've got a video about this issue on my YouTube Channel, I've included the link so you can have a look.  This issue was a big one, it was a double sized issue and (I'm going to use these words again) back in the day when they say Double Sized, it was really double sized, not like today.  Roger Stern delivered another great story featuring two teams, The East Coast Avengers teaming with the West Coast Avengers going up against Maelstrom.  Cool Issue with breakdowns by Al Milgrom, while Joe Sinnott did the finishes (pages 1-10, 31-40); Ian Akin (finishes) (pages 11-20); Brian Garvey (finishes) (pages 11-20); Roy Richardson (finishes) (pages 21-30)
This is another issue I found, The Avengers # 256 sporting a cover by John Buscem and Tom Palmer. Here's a little trivia for you, starting with this issue, there was a new cover logo designed by a reader named Steven Bove (who supplied the basic idea) and Mike Higgins (who did the modifications).
Here's more trivia, in this issue Hercules wears a new costume designed by John Byrne. Here's a look at that new costume.
This issue was written by Roger Stern, John Buscema did the breakdowns and Tom Palmer did the finishes.
So if you want to have a look at these issues and more, then click on the link down below and go to my YouTube Channel to have a look at these issue of the Mighty Avengers.

The 74th Co(s)mic ComicBook B'Cast: Revisiting Some Old Comics

It's been a while since I last posted.  I promised that I would keep this blog of mine going and I have been trying.  The start of the new year has not been....well, it hasn't been kind.  I've had to cope with a lot of changes and it's taken up most of my time but I promised to keep my little blog going and I fully intend to do so.  No matter what.
Just the other day I was trying to sort out my storeroom and I spotted a bunch of old comics.  I had forgotten these old comics and left them in my store room.  I guess after you move a few times, you kind of forget and sometimes lose a few things.  I took them all out and started to go through them and found some nice issues.  A few, well many were the comics I bought when I was still in school and some I bought after I started working.  They brought back some memories.  That got me excited about these classics again and I decided to go looking in the store room and see if I could find some more old comics.
Well I did and the video you're about to see will feature a few of these comics.
Some of them are in pretty good condition but many are in really bad shape.  My fault.  Entirely.  I left them in the store room.
Well, here;s the link to my YouTube Channel and my new video on these Old Comics of mine.  I hope you'll like this video, leave me a comment, a like and maybe subscribe to my channel.
